A word about the experience

Tucked away just off the Royal Mile you’ll find the ‘Edinburgh Food Social’ supper club, where you will enjoy some of the season’s tastiest locally-sourced ingredients, with each course introduced by the chefs who’ll share the story of the suppliers and the journey of the ingredients to your plate.

Hosted by a team of professional chefs and apprentices who want to pursue a career in the food industry, the ‘Edinburgh Food Social’ strive for honest ingredients, delicious food and a warm welcome. The incredible producers in Scotland and the people’s community are at the very heart of everything they do.

• Dine on a 4-course menu, which will include a mix of Scottish produce from land and sea
• Guests are welcome to BYOB but there will be a small corkage charge
• The supper club takes place in the Edinburgh Larder (just off the Royal Mile)
• Friday 9th September, 19:30


The menu will be crafted from seasonal ingredients and is a fixed menu for all participants. We can accommodate any dietary requirements however, we need to be informed of these at least 3 days in advance of the event.

Celeriac soup, smoked haddock, sourdough crumb

First Course
Goat’s cheese cream, raw beetroot, pickled pears, watercress

Main Course
Hunter’s Pie; slowly cooked venison pie with red cabbage and black kale

Rhubarb souffle with marmalade ice cream
