We are super passionate about our Teens Cookery classes- as these young people are the future of food!

We welcome 14-17 year olds to join us on an adventure of buying, preparing, cooking and understanding local, seasonal food.

Choose between either date, or choose to attend both for a £20 discount.

Expect dishes such as ‘Venison meatballs with hand-made pasta’ and ‘Rhubarb and ginger strudel with no fuss ice cream’

Steve is Head of Education for Edinburgh Food Social and has taught cookery around the world for over 15 years. With a deep knowledge of production methods, provenance, skills and techniques, Steve is the perfect person to guide you through this selection of fantastic seasonal recipes.

All of Edinburgh Food Social’s dinners, events and cookery classes are dedicated to educating people about the history, diversity, challenges and opportunities of the Scottish food system. We are a social enterprise and all of our profits go towards our work with young people an communities in the areas of Edinburgh that need it most, as well as our Good Food Apprenticeship which teaches young people the skills and understanding they need to work within the food industry.
