Learn with experienced chefs & food educators

We offer many types of cookery classes including free skills classes for the local community, and ticketed culinary experiences for anyone who would like to support us while while learning a new dish.

All of our classes and workshops focus on sharing the stories behind our food as well as giving attendees the skills to create beautiful dishes to share with family and friends.

Our current offering of cookery classes is listed on this page. Please sign up by filling in this form and indicating the classes you are interested in attending.

We often collaborate with other Craigmillar organisations to offer additional cooking classes.

Are you looking for a fun new team building event? If so, why not book a corporate cooking class with Edinburgh Food Social. Aside from ensuring you have an enjoyable, educational time in the kitchen, booking one of our corporate classes also helps support the vital work Edinburgh Food Social does in the local community. We offer a range of classes and are happy to tailor the teaching if you have a particular theme or cuisine you’d like to learn about.

Our corporate classes run for a half day as standard. You can opt to work together or in rival teams if you would prefer a bit of friendly competition! Either way, every class involves participants learning new skills and making a delicious, wholesome meal that is shared by everyone at the end of the class.

If this sounds of interest, please get in touch to discuss more at hello@edinburghfoodsocial.org

We also host ticketed dinners for Edinburgh Food Social supporters. Our dinners are hugely popular and welcome guests to experience delicious dishes in the company of like-minded people, often with guests including growers and food activists.

Join us for a fantastic experience that will leave you totally inspired.
