We run many different types of cookery classes from our Craigmillar kitchen, with a focus on sustainable, healthy and affordable cooking. Our skills classes are free for the local community, although tickets can be purchased by the wider public. Paying for a class a great way to support our mission whilst learning a new set of culinary skills.
All of our classes and workshops focus on sharing the stories behind our food as well as giving attendees the ability to create beautiful dishes to share with family and friends.
We are always happy to discuss private sessions for team building days, parties or group activities. We have extensive experience working with customers to deliver a whole range of classes; whether you want to learn how to stretch and cut your own tagliatelle, unlock the secret to a smokey baba ganoush, or ferment a spicy and long-lasting kimchi. Just let us know what you’re interested in.
Booking a private class also helps support the vital work Edinburgh Food Social does in the local community.
If this sounds of interest, please get in touch to discuss more at hello@edinburghfoodsocial.org
We are always working on ideas for events and experiences that can help fund our community projects, so watch this space for some exciting news in 2026!
