As food becomes a greater focus when talking about climate, it can be more and more difficult to navigate the weekly food shop.
The focus during this class is on delicious meals that are perfect for a weeknight but still include lots of really useful information on how to shop and cook sustainably too!
After a warm welcome with a cuppa, we will go through the sourcing, preparation and cooking of each recipe and we will eat everything that we cook along the way.
Each dish will be full of flavour and the skills you learn on the day will translate into many other dishes that you cook every day.

All of Edinburgh Food Social’s dinners, events and cookery classes are dedicated to educating people about the history, diversity, challenges and opportunities of the Scottish food system. We are a social enterprise and all of our profits go towards our work with young people an communities in the areas of Edinburgh that need it most, as well as our Good Food Apprenticeship which teaches young people the skills and understanding they need to work within the food industry.
