Good Food Youth Club

Price range: £120.00 through £200.00

Join us for a hands-on, food-filled adventure this summer! Our 2-day cookery course (with the option to join for just one day) runs from 10am–4pm, offering young people aged 12 and up the chance to cook, learn, and eat together.

Each day includes lunch, snacks, and treats to take home — all made by the group. We’ll explore everything from baking and home-style cooking to knife skills, ingredient knowledge, and sustainable kitchen practices.

Every session is shaped by the interests of the young cooks and the ingredients we have available, often donated from local suppliers — making every day unique!

Whether your child is new to the kitchen or already loves to cook, this is a fun, supportive space to build essential life skills while learning where our food comes from.

Finding us: We’re at 47 Peffer Place, Edinburgh, EH16 4BB. Please arrive 10 minutes early if possible.

What to bring: Please bring tupperware to take home anything you cook, a notepad and pen if you’d like to take notes, and warm layers — it can get a little chilly in the kitchen.

Allergies & intolerances: Please let us know in advance about any allergies or dietary intolerances by emailing hello@edinburghfoodsocial.org. We use most major allergens in our kitchen, so we may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests.
