Fun with Flour Cookery Class

Join this engaging, hands-on cooking and baking workshop and learn the timeless skills of making pasta, bread, and cakes entirely from scratch. This class offers a fantastic opportunity to build your confidence in the kitchen, while gaining practical techniques you’ll use again and again.

You’ll start by exploring baking, discovering how to create flavoursome and healthy wholegrain breads and light, delicious cakes using simple, fresh ingredients.

Guided by expert instruction, you’ll get familiar with working with different types of doughs and batters, understanding how ingredients interact and how to achieve the perfect texture, rise, and flavour.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a well-rounded set of new skills — and the satisfaction of having made your own bread, and cakes from scratch. It’s an inspiring, educational experience designed to boost your confidence and spark creativity in your home cooking.

Please note that all young people under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult for the duration of this class.

Finding us: We’re at 47 Peffer Place, Edinburgh, EH16 4BB. Please arrive 10 minutes early if possible.

What to bring: Please bring tupperware to take home anything you cook, a notepad and pen if you’d like to take notes, and warm layers — it can get a little chilly in the kitchen.
