Scottish Mezze

£75.00

Take your tastebuds on a journey where Scotland meets the Mediterranean in this creative and hands-on cookery class. Inspired by the vibrant tradition of mezze—shared small plates full of flavour, colour, and variety—you’ll learn how to transform the best of Scottish produce into a fresh, modern spread of dishes perfect for entertaining or relaxed weeknight dining.

Using local vegetables, sustainably sourced fish, and artisan Scottish cheeses, you’ll create a table full of mezze-inspired dishes such as:

  • Beetroot hummus with toasted oat dukkah
  • Smoked mackerel paté with lemon and horseradish
  • Roasted heritage carrots with yogurt and za’atar
  • Barley tabbouleh with herbs and garden greens

You’ll learn skills like balancing bold flavours, layering textures, seasoning with spices and citrus, and plating your dishes beautifully.

Perfect for adventurous home cooks, vegetarians (with pescatarian options), and anyone looking to cook more seasonally with flair. Come hungry and leave with a collection of fresh, flexible recipes that celebrate Scotland’s larder through a Mediterranean lens.
