Scottish Mezze

£75.00

Take your tastebuds on a journey where Scotland meets the Mediterranean in this vibrant, hands-on cookery class. Inspired by the generous tradition of mezze—colourful small plates designed for sharing—you’ll create a relaxed, flavour-packed spread that’s perfect for entertaining or elevating everyday meals.

You’ll transform local vegetables, fish and dairy into a modern mezze feast full of bold flavours, fresh herbs and contrasting textures.

On the menu, you’ll make dishes such as:

  • Beetroot hummus with toasted oat dukkah
  • Smoked mackerel pâté with lemon and horseradish
  • Seared steak with gremolata & crispy onions
  • Roasted carrots with yoghurt and pickled chilli
  • Barley tabbouleh with garden herbs and greens
  • Fresh, homemade ricotta

Along the way, you’ll build confidence in balancing flavours, using spices and citrus to lift dishes, layering textures, and plating food beautifully for sharing.

This class is perfect for curious home cooks who want to bring more creativity and seasonality into their kitchen. Come hungry, cook together, and leave with a collection of flexible recipes that celebrate Scotland’s produce through a Mediterranean lens.
